- That is not a problem. You are able to start the registration process without notifying your landlord. In some cases, we may ask you for your landlord information in order to verify your rental property and information.
- In most cases, this is a simple authentication process based on your information provided within account registration. In some instances, we will ask for additional information in order to verify your rental including driver’s license, landlord contact information, lease documentation, etc.
- It’s only available to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders over the age of 18 with a current US residential address
- No, it is a free service for renters
Landlord
- We are continuing to develop our product and are excited about the upcoming features. Landlord integration is essential to our success and we are working diligently to roll out a Landlord interface. While we are not publicizing a timeline, we encourage you to sign up for our Landlord waitlist to be the first to know about future developments.

- At this time, you must meet all the following criteria to open an account:
- United States’ citizen or permanent residents (green card holders)
- Age: 18+
- Current US residential address
- US phone number
- We don’t have immediate plans to expand outside the US, but we are excited to continue growing and will announce if anything changes.
Roost Rewards
- After completing your registration and rental verification process, you can start receiving Roost Reward Points with every successful rent payment. You can also earn Bonus Rewards when you refer a friend and they successfully complete the registration and verification process.
- You can redeem your rewards beginning 1-year after successfully joining Roost Rewards
- You can only apply your Roost Rewards to your down payment or closing costs when purchasing a home through a Roost Rewards Real Estate Partner
- No. Once received, your rewards don’t expire
